In the early '90s, DC spotlighted its most belligerent Green Lantern in his own solo series, a 16-issue run that ran from 1992 to 1994. With regular contributions from writers Gerard Jones, Chuck Dixon, and Will Jacobs, and artists Joe Staton, Chris Hunter, and Mark Tenney, the book leaned into Guy Gardner's hot-headed charm as he clashed with fellow Lantern Hal Jordan, his brother Mace, and oddball heroes like General Glory and the villain Goldface.
