About the series
A long-running Belgian comic strip from Dupuis, Guust (also known as Gaston) chronicles the daily chaos caused by an endearingly lazy and accident-prone office boy at the publishing house where he works. Created and primarily drawn by the legendary André Franquin, with early assists from Jidéhem, the series ran from 1968 to 1996 across 15 collected albums. Its timeless slapstick and inventive gags made it a cornerstone of Franco-Belgian comics, cementing Franquin’s reputation as a master of comedic timing and visual storytelling.
