G.I. Joe

In the early 1950s, Ziff-Davis brought the G.I. Joe name to comics with a short-lived but visually distinctive series, running just five issues. The art was handled by a rotating roster of talented hands, including Henry Sharp, Irv Novick, and John Celardo, giving the book a varied yet period-appropriate adventure feel.
