About the series
From 1970 to 1983, Arédit-Artima published 59 issues of Flash, a French-language series that collected and translated American stories of the Scarlet Speedster. Primarily written by John Broome, Cary Bates, and Gardner Fox, with art from Carmine Infantino, Joe Staton, and Irv Novick, the series showcased the adventures of Barry Allen and his wife Iris West. It served as a key introduction to the Silver Age Flash for French readers, preserving the classic tales of the Fastest Man Alive for an international audience.
