Ett fall för Canardo
Epix · 1992–1993 · 3 issues
About the series
In the early 1990s, the Swedish publisher Epix presented a trio of issues collecting Benoît Sokal's sly, anthropomorphic detective noir Canardo for a Scandinavian audience. Featuring translations and adaptations by Göran Ribe and Johan Andreasson alongside Sokal's signature moody artwork, this brief run brought the cynical duck private eye's melancholic European adventures to Swedish readers. It stands as a curious, niche bridge between Franco-Belgian bande dessinée and the Scandinavian comic scene of the era.
