About the series
From 1986 to the present, Firebird Press's Energons has charted the cosmic adventures of a team of six elemental-powered heroes—Vortex, Quasar, Micron, Neutron, Twister, and Electron—as they defend a sprawling universe from threats both scientific and supernatural. Over 65 issues, the series has been most consistently shaped by writer-artist Sherman Burnett, whose kinetic, detail-rich style, often alongside artists Dan O'Connor and Randy Crawford, defined its long-running visual and narrative identity.
