Dragon of the Valkyr

From 1988 to 1989, R.A.K. Graphics published Dragon of the Valkyr, a four-issue comic series that blends Norse mythology with martial arts fantasy. Written primarily by Steve Simshauser and George Rufener, with art by James Mravec, the story follows a young warrior on a quest to master the power of the dragon. Though brief, the series stands out for its ambitious fusion of genres and its place in the small-press boom of the late 1980s.
