About the series
In 2014, Marvel pitted the Merc with a Mouth against his own past with Deadpool vs. X-Force, a four-issue series written by Duane Swierczynski. Featuring art from Pepe Larraz and Rob Liefeld, the story sends Deadpool on a time-traveling mission to assassinate the original X-Force team before they can form. It’s a chaotic, continuity-bending clash that lets the creators play with the character’s history and the team’s 1990s roots.
