Deadpool vs. X-Force #2
A giant Deadpool dominates this 2014 Marvel cover, clutching a golden robot head in one oversized fist while aiming a hefty firearm with the other — and tiny figures of X-Force scatter at his feet, with Cable, Domino, and Warpath clearly caught in the chaos below. Shane Davis's cover composition nails the playful-but-dangerous tone of the series, framing the Merc with a Mouth as an unstoppable force of mayhem bearing down on a team that clearly has their hands full. With Duane Swierczynski writing and Pepe Larraz on art, "Time to Die #2" looks like a genuinely entertaining clash between Marvel's most unpredictable mercenary and one of its toughest mutant squads.
