Deadpool

Deadpool (1998–2000) was a nine-issue French-language series from Panini France that collected the early adventures of the Merc with a Mouth, drawing heavily from Joe Kelly’s defining American run. The series featured the wisecracking Wade Wilson alongside his recurring supporting cast—including the long-suffering Althea, Bob Stirrat, and Blind Alfred—and was illustrated by artists such as Ed McGuinness, Walter McDaniel, and Shannon Denton. Though it also included a classic Stan Lee story, this collection is notable for cementing Deadpool’s fourth-wall-breaking, violent-comic persona for a European audience.
