De avonturen van Kapitein Rob

From 2001 to 2008, Paul Rijperman revived the classic Dutch newspaper strip De avonturen van Kapitein Rob for a 41-issue series that collected and celebrated the original adventures. Primarily written by Evert Werkman, Pieter Kuhn, and Wijnanda Aberson, with art by Pieter J. Kuhn and Pieter Kuhn, this run compiled the beloved maritime exploits of the titular captain and his crew. A key archival project, it preserved the legacy of a strip that had originally captivated readers from the 1940s onward, offering a definitive edition for both nostalgic fans and new readers.
