Comics the Golden Age

From 1984 to 1985, New Media Publishing revived the spirit of the 1940s with Comics the Golden Age, a five-issue anthology series that reprinted and celebrated classic superhero, adventure, and humor strips. The series drew heavily on the work of Bill Everett, who contributed both writing and art, alongside talents like Jerry Robinson and Ken Ernst, showcasing the dynamic, pulpy energy of early comics. Though short-lived, it served as a nostalgic showcase for the pioneering craftsmanship that defined the medium's formative years.
