About the series
From 2003 to the present, Image Comics' Capes is a three-issue series by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Mark Englert that reimagines superheroics as a gritty, blue-collar job. The story follows a ragtag team of oddball heroes—Bolt, Claire Voyant, Commander Capitalism, and Kid Thor—as they navigate the mundane frustrations and violent realities of crime-fighting for a living.
