Buccaneer

In the late 1950s, I. W. Publishing / Super Comics launched Buccaneer, a brief two-issue series of swashbuckling adventure. The book is best remembered for the artwork of Reed Crandall, whose dynamic, detailed illustrations brought the high-seas action to life. Though its run was short, Buccaneer stands as a showcase of Crandall's skill during the Golden Age of comics.
