Basilisk

In the tradition of high-concept genre mashups, Basilisk (2021–2022, Boom! Studios) follows a group of five super-powered individuals known as the Chimera, who have escaped a cult-like commune and are now being hunted by a lone survivor they left for dead. This dark, violent, and emotionally charged series—written by Cullen Bunn with art by Jonas Scharf—explores themes of trauma, revenge, and the monstrous cost of power.
