A Certain Scientific Railgun

Set in the high-tech Academy City, this manga spinoff from the A Certain Magical Index universe centers on the powerful esper Misaka Mikoto and her friends. Written primarily by Kazuma Kamachi and illustrated by Motoi Fuyukawa, the series explores their daily lives and battles against scientific and supernatural threats. Running since 2011 from Seven Seas Entertainment, it offers a deeper, more personal look at the city's Level 5s and the dark underside of its advanced technology.
