This anthology issue contains several stories: "John and Joan in The Forgotten Land" follows the siblings as they explore the mysterious Amazon jungle, discovering a hidden civilization and encountering both natural dangers and human threats including an alligator and a knife-wielding enemy. "The Queer Adventures of Patsy and Tim" features the pair and their dog Scurry inadvertently helping to catch criminals while their uncle's special pills cause comedic mishaps. "There Was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe" is a whimsical tale of an old woman managing many children in a shoe-shaped home with cooking adventures and chaos.
