# Soldiers of Fortune #10 Synopsis This anthology issue contains at least two action stories. "Combat Ace" follows Captain Ace Carter, a soldier of fortune who receives orders recalling him to active duty as a Marine captain while in New York, forcing him to abandon a treasure-hunting expedition to the lost city of the Incas. In a separate naval adventure, English forces capture a Spanish galleon laden with gold, and amid the chaos of battle at sea, a confrontation ensues between rival captains fighting over the treasure, with themes of betrayal and bloodlust dominating the violent encounter.
