School Friend #252 is an anthology issue featuring multiple picture-stories. "Cherry's Alpine Schooldays" follows Cherry Lee as she arrives at Alpine School, where she discovers a stolen musical box containing an important tune and becomes determined to solve the mystery while competing in the Alpenhof Test skiing race. "Mystery Member of the Circus" tells of Patsy and Mimi investigating a mysterious girl who left a note asking them to care for her pony, Pom-Pom, eventually discovering she was a circus performer named Zena. "Princess Anita" depicts the young princess held prisoner at the Arch-Duke's hunting lodge in the forest, where she refuses to sign a document and resolves to escape despite the Countess Helga's threats. The issue also includes a "What do you know?" quiz feature and various advertisements.
