School Friend #245 is an anthology featuring three stories: "Cherry's Alpine Schooldays," in which Cherry Lee receives a mysterious musical box at her new school and discovers it was stolen years ago by a music dealer named Fritz Hermann, who had sent it to her mother; "Pom-Pom the Circus Pony," where a clown's trained pony performs at a circus and later helps recover a missing trapeze bar hidden in the ring; and "Susie's Wonder Cruise," depicting a group of young passengers on a ship who discover a genuine treasure map of Tanga Island and set out on an expedition to follow its directions and locate buried treasure.
