Jo and her husband, Migs, are locked in a playful feud after he mistakenly believes she’s “bratting” — going out with someone else — when she’s actually just babysitting next door. Meanwhile, Migs’ attempt to flirt with a model named Gale Glamour backfires when he learns she’s also been misled, leading to a twist of mistaken identity and a surprise reunion.
In the springtime city park, banker Joe Grammont is found dead with his throat slashed—no one nearby, no clear suspects—leaving Officer Dan Richards baffled. When two men with motives both appear at the scene, Dan, aided by his dog Thor, must uncover the truth before the real killer escapes again.
