Plastic Man #34 (1952)

In a seaside showdown, Plastic Man and his sidekick Woozy arrive at the estate of yacht owner Mr. Van Victor, who’s volunteered to help the Coast Guard patrol the coast. Tensions rise when Van Victor acts strangely about a certain building and his secretary, Dotty, seems to be hiding something—leading Plastic Man to suspect the mansion is a front for a smuggling operation. That night, they sneak back to investigate, only to be captured and locked in a room, unaware that the real danger lies beneath the waves.

Plastic Man and Woozy take a vacation at a remote lumber camp, where the foreman, Waldo, seems friendly—until a series of mysterious attacks by "Wolf Men" leaves the crew terrified and the camp on the brink of collapse. As the duo investigates, they uncover a shocking truth behind the wolf disguises, leading to a showdown that tests their wits and rubbery resolve.

Plastic Man investigates a sudden drop in army enlistments in Rinald County, leading him to a recruiting office where he encounters a mysterious woman who invites him to a party—only to later discover the event is a front for a sabotage ring. As he follows the trail from the party to a hidden house, he must outwit the saboteurs, who have taken his assistant Woozy hostage, all while the underground group tries to lure him into their trap.
