In the Wheat Kingdom, bakers anxiously await the results of Sammy Sweet's invention of magical "power cookies" that would grant the strength of ten men to whoever eats one. Peter Wheat and his friends help Sammy complete the cookies, but when Peter tries to test them, he finds he cannot budge a table despite the promised strength. Sammy realizes his invention doesn't work as planned, but the cookies taste delicious anyway. However, a villain attempts to steal the recipe, forcing Peter and Sammy to memorize and then burn the formula to keep it from falling into enemy hands.
