Contains 4 stories
A Problem Settled in Jerusalem
13 pp · religious

Paul and Barnabas return from their first missionary journey to Antioch, only to face a heated dispute over whether Gentile converts must follow Jewish law—a crisis that sends them to Jerusalem to seek resolution. The story follows Paul, Silas, and their growing company of companions as they travel through Syria, Cilicia, and into Macedonia, preaching the gospel and establishing new churches, while encountering both converts and fierce opposition from those threatened by their message. From the streets of Philippi to the cities of Thessalonica and Berea, these early missionaries endure persecution and hardship, yet their faith and determination continue to draw believers to Christ.

Athenians Hear a New Doctrine
7 pp · religious

Paul arrives in Athens disturbed by the city's abundance of idols, and begins proclaiming Jesus and the resurrection both in the synagogue and the marketplace, drawing curious crowds who bring him before the Areopagus to explain this strange new doctrine. Speaking to the Athenians about the unknown god they unknowingly worship, Paul argues that God cannot be represented by human craftsmanship, and testifies to Jesus and His resurrection—with some in the crowd mocking him, others promising to hear more, and still others believing his message.

The Riot at Ephesus
16 pp · religious

When a silversmith named Demetrius stirs up the craftsmen of Ephesus—fearful that Paul's preaching against idols will ruin their livelihood—a violent mob storms the amphitheater, chanting for their goddess Diana. Paul's companions Gaius and Aristarchus are seized in the chaos, and though friends and city officials urge Paul to stay hidden, the apostle presses onward, leading his followers toward Macedonia and beyond. What begins as an angry riot cascades into a larger journey filled with warnings, miraculous moments, and mounting danger as Paul makes his way toward Jerusalem, determined to deliver an offering despite mounting threats to his life.

Agrippa Decides to Send Paul to Rome
10 pp · religious

When King Agrippa hears Paul's defense of his faith and his transformation from persecutor to preacher, the prisoner's words nearly move the king himself—but Agrippa ultimately decides Paul must be sent to Caesar in Rome as the man has requested. What follows is a harrowing sea voyage where Paul's faith and courage sustain the ship's crew through a violent storm, shipwreck, and rescue on the island of Melita, where his kindness and healing touch earn him both suspicion and reverence. Once in Rome, Paul settles into a quiet but purposeful life, teaching all who seek him out and spreading the gospel even from his confinement.
