Monte Hale Western #83 (1955)

Monte Hale discovers that a bank has been robbed twice by a clever gang of safe-crackers, and the bank president fears the establishment will fail if the robberies continue and depositors withdraw their money. Monte agrees to help catch the robbers within a week, and he and Newt devise a plan to trap the criminals by depositing money in the bank and using it as bait. When the gang strikes again, Monte is positioned to apprehend them and recover the stolen cash, saving the bank from ruin.
