In 1942, two Japanese soldiers crash-land in the Venezuelan jungle and are taken by the Jivaro tribe, where King Kono—once a French convict who rose to power by offering a rival’s head to the witch doctor—now rules with an iron will. When the Blackhawks are dispatched to investigate rumors of a hidden Japanese airbase, they find themselves entangled in a dangerous alliance between the jungle king and the enemy soldiers.
In "Rescue on Kaifu Island," the Sniper takes on a new mission in the Pacific, joining American forces under Paul Hammond during a high-stakes operation in the Philippines. As the war intensifies, he must rely on skill and courage to outwit enemy forces in a relentless campaign across enemy-held terrain.
In "The Dry Martini," Captain Allen V. Martini leads the Flying Fortress "Dry Martini" on a bombing mission over Nazi-occupied France, engaging a swarm of German Messerschmitts in a fierce aerial battle. After a hard-fought dogfight that sees the bomber down multiple enemy planes, the crew returns to their base in England to be hailed for their remarkable score.
Captain Joe Foss, a Marine pilot fresh from the South Dakota plains, proves his mettle in the brutal skies over Guadalcanal, where he shoots down multiple Japanese fighters in intense dogfights, survives being shot down and crash-landing at sea, and is eventually rescued by a search plane after enduring malaria and hostile jungle conditions. After recovering in Australia, he returns to the front, leading a squadron in a crucial mission to intercept a massive Japanese air armada, using disciplined tactics to protect the American airfield despite the temptation to boost his personal score.
