This is an anthology issue containing two stories. "Dirty Danny" features a young boy who needs a suit made by a tailor, leading to humorous mishaps when the garment proves problematic. "Ride-Away Rafferty" follows a wanderer traveling across the Salt Pan Desert toward the Rio Grande who encounters a young fellow in possession of stolen gold nuggets and becomes entangled in a scheme involving cattle rustlers and Spanish conquistadors pursuing a gold train through the mountains. "Son o' the Circus" tells of Jeff Barnaby, an orphan working for a circus, whose involvement with the circus animals and various circus personnel creates mysteries and comedic situations at the Newstead fair.
