Hunk and Cecil decide to become minstrel reporters to investigate life at Camp Sneaker and report back to their concerned Aunt Devonshire about her cousin Douglas. When they arrive at the camp, the Commanding Officer gives them a tour that hilariously contradicts what they actually observe—from nineteen-year-old "temporary" barracks to dubious army food and chaotic training maneuvers. As the boys navigate the absurd reality of military life, they discover that the Army's official story and what really goes on are two very different things.
