Girls' Crystal #959 is an anthology issue featuring three stories. "Friends of the Gipsy Skater" follows Carol, who must retrieve a vital packet from Mitzi's gypsy guardian Scorpio while her friends Rhoda and Denia create diversions to help her escape. "Hetty & Hal in Holland" by Elise Probyn tells of two girls staying with a Dutch farmer who befriend a young gypsy acrobat named Katinka and help her recover a stolen golden bracelet that holds sentimental value. The third story features a girl named Kit on a Wild West adventure, where she and her cowboy guide Howard navigate dangerous canyon terrain while searching for shelter, encountering stampeding cattle and hostile terrain along the way.
