An anthology issue containing three stories: "The Make-Believe Princess," in which schoolgirl Sandra Drake encounters Yasmin, an Arab girl with an intriguing lute brooch, in Egypt; when Sandra learns the brooch promises happiness to its owner, she and her friend Beryl attempt a midnight climb to the pyramids to meet Yasmin as arranged, but are thwarted by prefect Grace Lang. "Kitty and Kay in Switzerland" by Elise Probyn, wherein two schoolgirls on holiday in the Swiss Valley encounter a spoiled boy named Eddie Prout; when Eddie ruins their museum outing and picnic plans, Kitty and Kay outwit him through a series of pranks involving a canoe and a pageant. "That Exciting Holiday on the Broads," in which Pat Fraser, her brother Tony, and schoolmate Valerie holiday on the Norfolk Broads and discover a message in a bottle leading them to investigate a prisoner on a nearby yacht, only to uncover a case of mistaken identity involving an imprisoned girl.
