This issue is an anthology containing at least three stories. "The Monster's Secret" depicts Frankenstein's monster living under the same roof as a man named Flavin, who assists the creature by using an acid bath to remove flesh from bones, then wiring the skeleton together and covering it with plaster to create realistic-looking skeletons for sale, concealing the monster's existence from customers and police. "The Spectacles" follows Phil Pruden in Africa, who acquires magical spectacles from a witch doctor that reveal a death mark on a man's cheek, leading to his demise, though Pruden finds the supernatural phenomenon tedious. "Cursing Skulls!" is set in medieval England, where farmer Tom Wintridge and his wife encounter cursed skulls that drive horses mad and torment them, ultimately attacking the Wintridges after they attempt to sell their land to Lord Hawley.
