Film Fun #968 is an anthology issue featuring three main stories: "Laurel and Hardy: Hardi Cricket!" depicts Stan and Olly's misadventures when they attempt to obtain good batters for a village cricket team, resulting in a series of comedic mishaps involving puddings and oversized bowler hats; "The Great George Formby: The Millionaire Tramp" shows George Formby joining a film production about a tramp and inadvertently becoming involved in various on-set and off-set complications; and "Jack Keen, Detective" (continued from page 11) features a detective story involving mysterious circumstances surrounding deaths and a man named Neville, with Keen investigating multiple connected cases including an encounter with a phantom horseman called the Night Rider.
