Dark Mysteries #19 (1954)

"The Rack of Terror" follows a man who becomes obsessed with studying ancient corpses to unlock the secrets of immortality, only to have the dead bodies mysteriously return to life and terrorize him. "Snow Madness" depicts a service station attendant driven to paranoid hysteria during an isolated snowstorm, haunted by a beautiful girl from a detective magazine he had been reading, leading him to a deadly confrontation with a mysterious figure. In a separate tale, a dying man named B-Brener uses a miraculous pill provided by the sinister Dr. Gaunt to extend his life, but the cure proves to be a devil's bargain as Gaunt demands increasingly dark favors in exchange for keeping him alive.
