In a lighthearted adventure set in Chinatown, Jo (a.k.a. Chop Chop) teams up with Blackhawk to track down a group of crooked gamblers who swindled him out of his precious yak tails—merchandise he’d spent the year collecting to send home. When the trail leads to Chu Gum’s curio shop, Jo must outwit the crooks, escape a trap, and reclaim his goods, all while Blackhawk finds himself tangled in a series of absurd mishaps and mistaken identities.
When the mysterious Captain Suicide threatens to destroy the Hollis Small Arms factory with invisible bombers, the Blackhawk team is called in to defend it—only to find their efforts sabotaged by a strange, gasoline-laced fire that defies explanation. As suspicion turns against them and the press brands them as saboteurs, the team must uncover the truth behind the phantom attacks before Captain Suicide strikes again at the Wallis-Halmers plant.
