Vic Sage (born Charles Victor Szasz)

Blue Beetle #1 (1967) · 57 appearances

Powers. No superpowers. Investigative journalist and martial artist; skilled detective and hand-to-hand combatant. Signature gimmick is a faceless mask made of "Pseudoderm" artificial skin (with a bonding gas that also alters his hair/clothing color) invented by Aristotle Rodor.

Origin
Vic Sage is a tenacious Hub City investigative reporter who dons a unique chemical mask — developed by scientist Aristotle Rodor — that renders his face completely featureless, allowing him to pursue justice as an anonymous, no-nonsense vigilante. Originally a Charlton Comics creation by Steve Ditko, the character was later acquired by DC Comics.
