The issue also features a story titled "The Falcon." These adventure tales showcase Rulah's efforts to liberate the oppressed and defeat jungle despots across multiple exotic settings.
When Lucy Troller, a famous dancer, seeks inspiration for new routines, her agent Jack arranges an expedition into the jungle to learn authentic dances—unaware that his associate Halure is actually Pantha, a member of the cannibalistic Surachii tribe who sees an opportunity to reclaim her place among her people. As the theatrical party ventures into dangerous territory, Rulah discovers that the Surachii have captured a boy named Bono and are preparing for a deadly ceremonial dance, forcing the jungle goddess to infiltrate the village and confront both the frenzied tribe and a terrifying fate.
Rulah discovers a centuries-old edict from Napoleon Bonaparte demanding her surrender to a mad French colony hidden deep in the jungle, ruled by a self-proclaimed emperor and his ruthless executioner, Captain Derrieux. When the jungle goddess refuses to bow, she's captured and thrust into a deadly game where the captain's dangerous attraction to her puts everyone—including the lost maiden Runa—in the path of the executioner's blade. With Saber at her side and deception her only weapon, Rulah must outwit a court of lunatics descended from a shipwrecked cargo of exiles before the morning execution.
Rulah discovers a mysterious flyer's boot that sets off a chain of troubling revelations—a jungle boy named Tann reveals he witnessed a plane crash years ago and an encounter with a fearsome woman called the Falcon, who commands a flock of trained birds and holds American airmen captive on a mountain sanctuary. Racing against time to rescue the prisoners and stop the Falcon's reign of terror, Rulah climbs toward a confrontation she may not survive.
