Zona 84 #31
In "Gene Kong [parte 5 de 6]," Paul Kirchner delivers a surreal, split-tale experiment in absurdity: one strip, Humor fino, finds the protagonist waiting on a bus stop perched atop the very bus he’s waiting for; the other, Humor basto, turns the premise upside down as the bus plummets from above, crushing him mid-wait. With Kirchner handling all interior art and inks, and Howard Chaykin’s striking cover capturing the chaos, this 1986 issue from Zona 84 stands as a bizarre, visually inventive chapter in a six-part story.
In "Humor fino," a man waits patiently on a bus stop—only to realize it's perched atop the bus itself. In "Humor basto," he stands at a regular stop, only for the bus to plummet from above, leaving him in a very literal pinch.
