Zago, Jungle Prince #3

The opening story, "Insect Bombers," depicts a wartime scenario where destructive crop-destroying insects—grasshoppers and Mormon crickets—swarm across fertile American farmlands in Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, and other western territories, while military aircraft attempt to combat the aerial menace. In the main feature "Zago," a woman claims to be the rightful owner of a mine and tells Zago she was kept from it by a foreman and his son, but her story unravels when Zago discovers she actually murdered the foreman and conspired with criminal associates. When gangsters attempt to extort money from Zago by claiming to have invented something world-changing, Zago identifies their scheme and captures them, preventing them from meeting with Roosevelt, Churchill, and Stalin as they had planned.
