This installment collects chapters from the original Japanese series, advancing the story of Kogarashi and his spectral companions as they navigate love, danger, and the mysteries of the haunted hot springs.
In "Oboro-san's Proposal," Yuuna and the residents of Yuragi Inn find themselves in a strange, otherworldly limbo after Yuuna uses her powers to escape Tenko Nadare’s grasp. With time to breathe and a chance to heal, the group searches for a way to restore their true selves—while the quiet tension around Oboro-san begins to shift in unexpected ways. Written by Tadahiro Miura and Thomas Zimmerman, with art and inks by Miura, and lettered by Phil Christie, this issue features a cover by Miura that captures the eerie stillness of the moment.
In "Yuragi-sou in the Sights," the residents of Yuragi Inn wake to find themselves five years younger—except for Yuuna Yunohana, who remains unchanged. As Kogarashi Fuyuzora, Oboro Shintou, and the others grapple with their lost memories and shifting relationships, Yuuna finds herself caught between the past and present, navigating a world where old bonds feel new and familiar faces carry unfamiliar weight.
When the spiritual energy of the Yuragi Inn’s residents wanes with age, Tenko Nadare arrives with a deadly purpose—targeting Kogarashi Fuyuzora to open the door for a full-scale invasion by the Tenko Clan. Amid the quiet tensions of the hot springs, old bonds are tested as Yuuna Yunohana and the others must confront a threat that emerges from both shadow and memory.
In the eerie stillness of a forgotten limbo, Yuuna Yunohana and the residents of Yuragi-sou—Kogarashi Fuyuzora, Chisaki Miyazaki, Koyuzu Shigaraki, and the others—find themselves suspended between worlds, safe from Tenko Nadare’s grasp. With the inn’s familiar warmth replaced by shifting shadows and whispered secrets, they must unravel the mystery of their condition before the veil between realities thins too far.
Kogarashi Fuyuzora stumbles upon an ancient scroll in the inn’s storeroom, its instructions promising a surge in psychic power—though the method is anything but subtle. Reluctantly, he and Yuuna Yunohana agree to try it, drawn in by curiosity and the promise of something greater, even as the scroll’s overtly intimate nature makes the air between them charged.
