The Young Avengers have moved to a safer location after Loki informs them that Mothers powers only work when the group is near their parents. Elsewhere, the former New X-Men member known as Prodigy, now working at a superhuman call center, meets up with a co-worker, the former Young Avenger known as Speed. When a thief dressed as Patriot breaks into their workplace the boys decide to investigate.
