Sequoia Sam rides through a small western town and discovers himself to be a doppelganger to another resident of the town - Yosemite Sam. Putting the resemblance to "bad use", Sequoia Sam holds up the town bank and lets Yosemite Sam take the blame. Daffy Duck dons his detective gear to clear the accused Yosemite Sam, and must ultimately decide for the sheriff which Sam is "Sequoia" and which Sam is "Yosemite". He does so in a clever and satisfying fashion.
