In flashback, Sesshomaru and Kirinmaru team up to defeat the Grim Comet before it can destroy Earth. The battle comes at a great cost, killing Kirinmaru's daughter and setting Zero onto a course of bitter revenge. In the present, Setsuna and Moroha attempt to take the fight to the demon hunter, even though the lunar eclipse has robbed them of their demon abilities.
