This first volume of the French edition of Y: The Last Man collects the opening chapters of Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra's acclaimed series. It introduces Yorick Brown, the last surviving human male after a mysterious plague kills every other mammal with a Y chromosome, and his capuchin monkey Esperluette (known in English as Ampersand), as they navigate a world now populated solely by women. The story sets up the central mystery of the plague and Yorick's quest to reach his scientist mother in hopes of understanding what happened.
