Storm and Nezhno race back to California where Cyclops, possessed by the Shadow King, is doing his best to try and kill the X-Men. Storm drives the Shadow King from Scott and, with the help of the Panther God, is able to destroy her old enemy for good. Storm accepts her dual roles as queen of Wakanda and member of the X-Men.
