X-Men: Manifest Destiny Nightcrawler #1
In "Quitting Time," Nightcrawler steps away from the X-Men to visit the Nightcrawler Museum in his hometown, only to find the town terrorized by a giant demon. As he investigates, he uncovers a truth far more personal than he expected—this creature is no monster, but a boy misunderstood just as he once was. Written by James Asmus and illustrated by Jorge Molina and Ardian Syaf, with inks by Victor Olazaba and Vicente Cifuentes, colors by John Rauch, and letters by Jeff Eckleberry, the issue’s cover by Brandon Peterson captures the moment of quiet tension before the storm.
