The X-Men teleport to Lilandra's ship in an attempt to protect the M'Kraan Crystal from D'Ken. The Starjammers arrive and capture both Cyclops and the crystal from Lilandra. Corsair offers to sell the crystal to D'Ken but is actually setting him up as the X-Men show up to battle the Imperial Guard during the exchange. During the melee, D'Ken and Gladiator make off with both Lilandra and the crystal. D'Ken enters the M'Kraan Crystal and threatens all of reality.
