“Love--and Loss! Part 4: Strike-Back!”

In "Love--and Loss! Part 4: Strike-Back!", the X-Men face a desperate reckoning as Kitty unleashes her teammates from the Danger Room, even rallying Sabretooth to aid in tracking Storm into the Morlock tunnels. With Beast offering a surprising explanation for Kitty’s new Wolverine claw, the team splits—while most clash with Storm, Gambit reunites with a familiar face on the Brooklyn Bridge: a young girl named Ororo. Written by Chris Claremont and brought to life by Tom Grummett’s dynamic art, with inks by Cory Hamscher, colors by Wil Quintana, and letters by Tom Orzechowski, this 2009 issue delivers emotional stakes and high-octane action, all wrapped in a cover by Grummett and Hamscher.

Kitty releases the rest of the X-Men from the Danger Room and even Sabretooth helps his old enemies track Storm into the Morlock tunnels. Beast comes up with a plausible explanation as to why Kitty is now sporting one of Wolverine's claws. While most of the X-Men battle Storm, Gambit has a little reunion with an old friend on the Brooklyn Bridge--a young girl named Ororo.
