Jean's power surge when she breaks her psychic connection with Logan knocks all of the X-Men out and blacks out X-Mansion. Nick Fury learns from Gabe that SHIELD has found Wolverine’s adamantium skeleton in a crater in Central Park but it is missing a claw. As Storm goes to restore power to the mansion, she is attacked by Sabretooth who keeps referring to Wolverine as "the boy." During the fight with the X-Men, Sabretooth is blinded.
