X-Men Forever #14
In "Black Magik Part 4: Darkness At Dawn!", Colossus, Black Widow, and the X-Men face a dire assault as Cossack's army closes in—only to be met with unexpected aid from the Winter Guard. With Illyana and Kitty now wielding dark powers and aligned with Cossack, the tide shifts when Kitty recalls Wolverine’s words and turns against her new mentor. The battle culminates in a dramatic escape as Dark Magik vanishes through a stepping disc bound for Limbo, leaving behind a fractured team and a cryptic call to Kurt from Amanda Sefton. Written by Chris Claremont and illustrated by Tom Grummett, with inks by Cory Hamscher, colors by Wil Quintana and SotoColor, and letters by Tom Orzechowski, the issue’s cover by Tom Grummett and Terry Austin captures the chaos in bold, dynamic detail.
