Juggernaut snatches Lilandra from the arms of Professor X and takes her to Eric the Red in Cassidy Keep. The X-Men give chase and hold their own against Juggernaut and Black Tom until Gladiator arrives to take Lilandra and the M'Kraan Crystal for Shi'ar emperor D'Ken. Xavier wakes up Jean, who has been possessed by the Phoenix force, and asks for her help. D'Ken, himself, arrives.
